Tutoring Information
All tutors are students who have an advanced level of skill in a particular course. These students have been approved by a faculty member.
The Mission of Student Services
The mission of the Student Services division is to optimize the opportunity for student development by facilitating and encouraging the intellectual, social, cultural, emotional, physical, life-planning, and spiritual growth of students as individuals and as members of the larger community.
Become a Tutor
The Tutoring Program is always looking for new tutors in all subjects. To become a tutor you will need to complete the application for tutoring by filling out the form online. If we did not recruit you to be a tutor, you are required to obtain a faculty recommendation for the course(s) you wish to tutor.
A tutor is considered a role model and has a major impact on the success of students receiving tutoring. A tutor is expected to be dependable, responsible, and trustworthy. Tutors must show patience and encouragement through the learning process and respect individual differences. Tutors will have access to confidential information and must respect that privilege.
